CHAPTER 6 ~ The Heartless Mafia
VITO’S TERRITORY
Shine was sitting on the floor in the dark room when Ms. Lillian came, holding a tray of dishes, she wiped her tears away and immediately helped Ms. Lillian with it.
“I told you not to stand up, you body is still weak” Ms. Lillian said and made her sit down then asked one if the guards switched on the light.
Immediately the guard switched on the light, Ms. Lillian was shocked to see the room dirty, with cobwebs all over the walls.
“This is where you have been sleeping, I need to speak with Vito” Ms. Lillian said and was about to step out when she stopped her.
“Don’t bother, I don’t want to have any problem with him today” She muttered, staring at her.
“I understand how Vito’s treating you but he has a hot temper, whenever he is angry there is nothing you will say, he won’t listen that time” Ms. Lillian said and patted her hands.
“He is so heartless, I will never forgive him for everything…”
“Did I ask for your forgiveness you b***h” Vito said, walking towards her then strangled her neck.
“Ms. Lillian, didn’t I ask you not to give her any food, I want her to suffer” Vito said with a frown.
“Vito, please leave her… she is not feeling well” Ms. Lillian pleaded.
“You asked me to leave her, did you hear what she said, the thief’s daughter still has the guts to gossip around her, I don't think she has suffered very well” He said, staring at her dangerously.
“She didn’t know you were coming, please forgive her” Ms. Lillian pleaded but he ignored her.
“Shorty” He called and immediately Shorty up.
“Yes, Boss” Shorty answered with his eyes glued to the floor.
“Go and lock her in the torture room, make sure you tie her very well with the chain there and cover her mouth” He said.
Shorty nodded and was about to touch her when Ms. Lillian stopped him.
“Vito, please…”
“Ms. Lillian, you know I have always listened to you but about this, no way” He said, sternly.
Shorty dragged Shine out of the room and took her to the torture room, they got inside and he did as Vito instructed, Shine glanced at everywhere and was shocked to see so many weapons, hot tears streamed down her face.
“You look sexy, I wish I could have you tonight” Shorty said, smiling and was about to lay his hand on her when the door opened then Vito, he immediately moved his hand away then pretending he was still chaining her.
“You may leave,” Vito said.
He nodded then left. As soon as he left Vito moved closer to Shine and grasped her head, untied the chain and deep her face in the cold water.
“I told you not to get me angry but you don’t listen, do you think because you have Ms. Lillian supporting you will make me change towards you, no way cause you are still my slave, I owned everything about you… your body is mine” He said and pulled her back.
Shine tried to catch her breath a little before he deep her face inside the water again. After doing that he chained her back.
“That’s your food you can eat it” He placed the food on the table.
“How do…you expect me to eat…when you tied me here?” She stuttered as hot tears rolled down her cheek.
“You should have thought of what I will do to you before gossiping about me” He said and grasped her head again, he hit her head on the wall hard, her head sustained a bruised, blood gushed out.
She screamed in pain but he didn’t care.
“If you don’t keep quiet, I will keep hitting your head until you pass out. I won’t kill you right now. I want you to suffer for the money your father stole from me,” He said.
“Vito, kill me” She muttered.
“Even if I want to kill you, I will let you die easily” He said with a smile.
An hour later, Vito was still torturing her when Swifty showed up, she glanced at Shine.
“Why are you here? Didn’t I tell Spyder not to allow anyone in” He said as he faced her.
“I’m sorry” Swifty immediately apologized.
“So why are you here?” He asked, wiping the stained blood in his hand.
“Boss, we found out Jenna’s location,” Swifty replied.
“I don’t want to waste much time again, tell Tanker to kill her since her father refused to pay my money” He commanded.
“Boss, there is a problem” Swifty said and he frowned.
“Which problem? No matter what the problem is, find a way to kill her or else I am gonna kill you” He said and she nodded.
He left the tortured room angrily, leaving Swifty and Shine.
“Please…give…me water,” Shine muttered.
Swifty felt pity for her and took the bottle of water on the table and gave it to her, she gulped it.
“Be fast, he must not find out I am giving you water” Swifty said.
“And what if I find out,” Vito said.
Swifty turned and was shocked to see, she thought he had left.
“Boda, please forgive me” She pleaded but he didn’t listen and asked one of the guards to chain her.
He took the rope and wiped Swifty with it, she screamed and begged him. After some minutes, he stopped and asked Spyder to take her to the room.
“I’m sorry, Boss” Swifty uttered as she walked out with Spyder.
Shine was shocked to see that he tortured her.
“And you…” He said as he turned to Shine.
“I mustn’t say anything to get him angry” She thought and bowed her head down.
“Behave yourself or else you’re gonna see my other side” He said then left.
He got to the living room and met Rubella sitting on the sofa arranging the drugs they’re gonna sell.
“Is it completed?” He questioned as he sat down.
“Yes but do you think those will people” Rubella asked, gazing at him.
“If they don’t, they are gonna be tortured by me or lose one of their children” He said and confirmed the drugs.
“Shorty, are those the new high leave drugs?” He asked.
“Yes, Boss,” Shorty said with a nod.

MR MINOR MOORE’S RESIDENT
Ms.Moore pushed the wheelchair towards her husband and woke her up, Mr Minor yawned as he opened his eyes slowly.
“You still have the mind to sleep, don’t you even care about our daughter” Ms. Moore said with a frown.
“I have done my best and there is nothing I can do, Woman” He said.
“Let’s go and report to the Sheriffs, they will help us” She said and Mr Minor immediately stopped her.
“What?? You dare not report him because if you do. Our daughter will die the day you reported them, do you know who Vito’s? He is a mafia, there is nobody he doesn’t know, even some of the Sheriffs are working for him” Mr Minor said and rolled down her cheeks.
“Can you see what you caused? Minor, pay them back so that they can release my daughter” She said in tears.
“I’m sorry” He apologised as he held her hands and she yanked his hand away.
“Don’t tell me sorry, go and bring my daughter” She shouted.
She bowed her head down and whimpered.
“Shine, I’m sorry I can’t save you… I am so useless” She said as she burst into more tears.
Mr Minor wanted to pat her but stopped because she was angry at him, he sighed then went upstairs.
