After I had finished whispering to God to help me scape through this despicable state,I opted to go and take my luggages and evade my humble abode as I couldn't endure the hardship I was facing.
I took my luggages and I was heading to the gate.
Obinna,the gate man restricted me from stepping an inch and ordered that I should go back.
I blew a fuse with my heart full of wroth.I tried to slap Obinna but he held my hand.
"So Obinna you have the guts to hold my hand" "I muttered apoplectically"
Obinna released my hand and locked the gate.

I was phyched up and enraged with anger.
Instantaneously,I gave it a thought about where I will go if I elude from my humble abode.
The Elders in our village had banished us from the village because we were cursed and Temi stays with his boss who is also mischievous and stone-hearted.
"What will I do now?what will be my fate if I die here through maltreatment?" "I ask myself as though I was quaking in my boots ".
While I was asking myself these questions,I heard a horn from outside and Obinna quickly opened the gate and behold,it was my husband,my mother in-law and the new wife.
Instantly,I started laughing profusely.
They were all stunned and the new wife asked Mike my husband "Why is she laughing in such an uncontrollably manner? What happened?"
Mike didn't respond to her question as they went inside.
Within a short period of time, Mike called me to come over to the parlor.
I went to the parlor immediately and he looked me in the eyes and he said "Hence you made me to sack the house help, you're going to be the new house help and also our cook".
I concurred with what he had uttered in great joy.I was grinning like a Cheshire cat tho my heart was filled with resentment.
In the evening of that day,I went outside to buy a rat poison as though I wanted to end their lives.
No one saw me as Obinna was in his apartment.
When I came back,I laughed all through,"this is going to be their last dinner""I said in my mind".
After cooking the dinner,I prayed piously for God to give me a stone-heart to kill this people but sadly, my heart was filled with kindness.
I cried passionately as I put the poison in the closet.
Without delay,I serve them the delicious rice and stew I've cooked.
The new wife tasted the food and started yelling my name as tho she was fit to be tied.
I finally came and he poured me the hot stew. I rushed her immediately but my husband stood up looking at me like he wanted to eat me.

I looked at my husband and my heart missed a bit I left instantly with hot tears drizzling from my eyes like rain.
EPISODE 7
After crying bitterly at the night,I woke in the morning with bells on.
I started praying to God to intervene in my situation as I had no one to speak for me.
As I was praying,I heard a knock on my door. The knock was really abrupt and insistent as I kept praying with deaf ears.
When I finished praying,I went near to the door to descry the birdbrain that was Knocking on my door craggily.
Lo and behold,I saw my husband's wife with numerous clothes including her undies.
Slothfully,I opened the door and this woman beat the daylights out of me.
We came to blows as Mike separated us. I explained everything to him and he didn't believe me.
He believed all the lies his wife told him.
I was really dissatisfied and disappointed.
Mike instantly instructed me to take her wife's and her mother's clothes for laundry.
My heart started hammering and I wasn't keen on washing those clothes but I had to do as I was instructed because I had no other alternative.
While I was washing those clothes,I heard someone yelling my name from the foremost side.
The call was insistent and I listened circumspectly in other to grasp who was calling.
I left the fabric I was washing to see who was calling and behold it was Ken, Mike's younger brother.
I hugged him blazingly as I was out of the blue.
He went inside instantaneously to see Mike his elder brother and his mother.
When he got inside, he saw Mike's wife and was bolt the blue
"Who are you "Mike's wife asked curiously"
"I should be the one asking you that question "Ken replied"
Well,my name is Cynthia,this is my husband's house "Mike's wife jabbered as though she was bouncing off the walls"
Are you for real? When did you people get married? "Ken asked inquisitively"
"Last month,by the way who are you? "Cynthia replied"
Ken didn't introduce himself to Cynthia and he left as though he was cheesed off.
He came to where I was doing laundry and started asking me numerous of questions.
"Who is that girl in my brother's house? (Ken asked)
"Well, she's your brother's new wife" (I replied)
"Tell me you're joking" "Ken muttered pensively"
My dear, I've suffered. Your brother and your mother now take me as their slave.
I've been beaten severally by your brother and I also lost my pregnancy because of him "I said all this with tears streaming down my Wang"
Ken went ballistic as he didn't allow me to finish the story.
EPISODE 8
After Ken obstructed me from finishing the story,he went inside as though he was in a black mood.
Instantly,I started hearing Ken's voice,he was shouting as though he wanted to blow a gasket.
I went to him and I saw Ken and Cynthia quarreling like they wanted to flea each other's ear.
I was trying to plead with Ken not to shout anymore as I was afraid that my husband and my mother in-law will see them quarreling when they come back.
And if that happens, I'll be in a hot soup as they will censure me for the cause of the stir.
As I was trying to stop them ,my husband came in and Cynthia was crying feignedly as if Ken have been beaten her.
"So you are beating my wife" "Mike shouted wrathfully"
"Bro, you should be abashed of yourself to have believed your wife's pretence" "Ken muttered as though he was up in his arms"
Mike slaps Ken immediately and Ken retaliated.
Gone are days,when you bully me and I won't retaliate "Ken ranted wrathfully"
Mike started beating his younger brother like a lion who was devouring an animal.
Blood was gushing out from Ken's nose and I kept shouting for Obinna,the gate man to come and separate them but Obinna kept deaf ears.
My mother in-law was shouting "You people have killed me oo"
I had no option than to separate them myself.
I grabbed Ken on his hand and went outside tho Mike gave me some blows on my back but I endured them and I took Ken to my room.
I cleaned the wounds with hot water and blood stopped to gush and I later went to a pharmaceutical shop and bought him some drugs.
Ken slept in my room that night and in the morning,he woke up lively.
He gave me a nice smile and congratulated me for saving his life.
My dear, my brother doesn't deserve you, you deserve better dear. You're an epitome of a good wife "Ken said thoughtfully".
My face instantly was shadowed in deep misery,and the whole world immediately went blank before my eyes.
Ken hugged me and motivated me that things will be alright.
