We woke up the next morning and Joseph explained everything that happened between him and Cynthia at his office the previous day and he also asked me to be very careful with her because if she gets to know that her plans didn't work out well, she might look for a way to hurt me.

And I also went home and informed my mom about everything that Cynthia has been doing and my mom also repeated the same thing that Joseph has said to me already, that I should always be careful about Cynthia.

Days passed and Cynthia discovered that her charms didn't work at all and she became very angry that she stopped talking to me and also she stopped visiting my house too.

And I became more scared about her sudden change of attitude.

I was returning from the market one day and I met some boys on my way home, and they were asking me to direct somewhere that they have missed their way somehow.

As I made to show them the way, one of them came from behind and covered my nose with a cloth and I went blank.

I woke up and saw myself in a place where I don't know at all surrounded by people who I don't know.

Then I remembered the boy that asked me for directions hours ago and I faced him and managed to ask him what I was doing there and why did they bring me there too.

And he replied and said I should be thankful to God for still being alive up till now, because they tried all the could to kill me but they couldn't do it.

Because it seems I have some powers that are beyond them or it could be that some powerful spirits are protecting me.

So I became scared and surprised to hear that they tried to kill me and I asked them to tell me who sent them to kill me but they said it doesn't matter.

But I pleaded with them to at least tell me the person that asked them to kill me so that I would at least know him or her before I die.

And that was when they finally said that Cynthia was the one who actually paid them to kill me.

But they tried all the necessary things that the use in killing others on me but none worked out.

I was surprised to hear that Cynthia was really the one again .

I started crying and thanking God for protecting me up to this extent.

Just then, one of the boys offered to help take me out of that place and return me to a safe place where I can find my way home.

But he asked me to sleep until the next morning because it was too late and dangerous out there already.

When the boys informed Cynthia earlier that they have found me and they are taking me to where they are going to kill me.

She became so happy.

Immediately she went to Joseph's house and stood at the gate waiting for him to return home so she could follow him inside because the security refused to open the gate for her.

Hours later, Joseph drove in and saw her outside the house and asked her what she was doing and immediately she saw him, she started faking tears and Joseph stopped the car and asked her to come in so he could drive her in the compound which she did.

They got inside and Cynthia was still crying and Joseph now asked her to tell him what the problem was.

And she told Joseph that she heard from someone that I was on my way home from the market and some bad boys kidnapped and took me away.

 

As she mentioned kidnapped, Joseph became confused and worried and he started asking that who could have wanted to kidnap me.

He tried calling my phone but it was switched off and he immediately called my mom and she picked up so he asked her if I was at home but my mom told him that I went to the market earlier that day to get some things for myself but I didn't return home so she thought that was because I went to his place.

 

So this one that he is asking her about me being home, hope all is well.

But Joseph told my mom that I didn't come to his place and my phone is not even connecting either.

And he asked my mom to hold on that he will drive home to her immediately.

So Joseph asked Cynthia to follow him to my house so that she will repeat what she said in her presence as well.

Joseph drove Cynthia to my house and they met my parents sitting outside and waiting for him already.

So they came down from the car and Joseph asked Cynthia to repeat what she told him earlier.

And Cynthia repeated that she heard some people saying they saw some boys kidnapped and took me away when I was coming back from the market.

But they didn't know where they took me to.

My mom heard about me being kidnapped and she started crying but my dad asked her to calm down that nothing will actually happen to me.

They all kept wondering and thinking about the matter.

So my mom being sharp enough, turned to Cynthia quickly and asked her that she hopes she is not the one behind this act.

Cynthia, are you sure you are not the one who asked those boys to kidnap and kill my daughter because of Joseph ER kwaya?

Haba Mama.

Cynthia I will think oo.

Because ever since you saw that Joseph wanted to marry Isabella your best friend, you became something else towards all of us.

You no longer visit our home and you have even stopped talking and answering her greetings but today that you received a good news about her missing you are finally here to jubilate mmm.

Mama please I don't know what you are talking about please, how would I want to do all those things?

Because you want Joseph to marry you instead of your friend, ER Cynthia, your own childhood friend at that.

My father asked my mom not to accuse Cynthia or anybody else until the truth is out.

So Joseph suggested that since they don't know what to do, it's better they go to the police station and report the case, so they all drove to the police station and reported the matter and the police told them that they will surely do something about it and make sure they bring me home alive.

The police also asked them if they have received any call from the kidnappers yet, but they said no.

So the police told them to be expecting a call from them soon if truly it was kidnappers. 

They returned home from the police station and Joseph did not go back to his house instead he asked my parents if they could allow him to spend the night with them because he doesn't want to go back his house and be there alone.

So my dad accepted and asked him to feel free.

So Joseph called his security and asked to call him if he sees me around the house.

As Cynthia saw that Joseph wasn't going to his house any longer, she decided to go to her house.

She returned home very angry and her mother asked her what the problem was and she told her everything and the bitterr part of it, that Joseph refused to go back to his house and decided to spend the night in my house instead.

While she was thinking of following him to his house house finally.

And her mother asked her if she was sure that those boys have killed me already.

And she said she even confirm it by herself because she asked them to send her a video of how they are killing me which they did.

So her mother told her to calm down about Joseph and she should give him some time to at least mourn me before she could use her hands to spoil her plans.
