“You’re pregnant??” Ms. Lillian exclaimed.
She nodded slowly.
“This is good news, I need to tell Vito” Ms.Lillian said and was about to leave when she held her hand, stopping her from leaving.
“You don’t want Vito to know?” Ms.Lillian asked, gazing at her then she nodded.
“But why? Are you afraid that Vito will reject the child” Ms.Lillian questioned.
“No, I don’t care if he rejected the child…the reason why I don’t want Vito to know is because of Rubella, you know how much she hates me, if she find out I am carrying Vito’s child, she might kill me” She said and Ms.Lillian heaved a sigh.
“I understand but the problem is Vito will keep torturing and if he find out you are pregnant for him, he won’t torture…”
“I don’t think so, if a brother can shoot his own twin brother why can’t he kill his child…Ms.Lillian I understand you are doing this for me and the baby but I can’t let him kill my child, I will make sure I protect this child in my stomach” She said, gazing at her.
“Okay, fine” Ms.Lillian muttered.
As soon as Ms.Lillian left the room, she lay down on the bed sadly, tears rolled down her cheek.
“I don’t know I was gonna get pregnant for that devil, I wish I could kill this child but the child is also my blood” She said in tears.
Her mind drifted to her mother, she wiped her tears away because she needed to be strong for her mother’s sake, after some minutes she dozed off.
The Next Day
Vito was in the torture room torturing Spyder when Rubella whispered something into her eyes, Vito immediately stood up and asked Rubella to unchain Spyder then they left the tortured room. Getting to the living they met Veer with Livia souring next to him.
“So you really came for him” Vito said as he sat down.
“Hmm so why do you want to see me” Veer asked, gazing at him.
“Veer, we are brothers, why are you so mean to me” Vito questioned and he smiled.
“We might be brothers but Vito I detest you so much, I wish I could kill you right now but I can’t, I don’t want to kill easily, I want to make you suffer before killing you” Veer said with anger purely shown in his voice.
“Really? But why?” Vito asked.
“Vito, I’m not here for questions and answers when we aren’t doing exams, I came here because of my guy who is incompetent to do a job neatly…You, if not because of your sister I would have killed you right now” Veer said, facing Spyder.
“Boss, I’m sorry for ruining everything” Spyder said with his eyes glued to the floor.
“Vito, I don’t think you tortured him very well cause if you do he won't be able to talk” Veer said and picked Vito’s pistol then he shot Spyder’s leg.
Livia immediately rushed towards, she tried to help Spyder but couldn’t.
“You are still so mean as usual, you even shot your…”
“I’m I a dangerous person or who? Didn’t you kidnap one of your worker’s daughters because he stole your money..:Vito, you are the bad guy and not me, I need to leave now” Veer said as he stood up.
He was walking out when Rubella pointed a gun at him, he stopped walking and turned to her.
“Do you think you can kill me? Even though you want to kill me because of him, he doesn’t love you anymore, if truly he loves he won’t kept a lady in his side and keeping having s**x…Bella, you are smart so you should think about it but Vito that girl you are hiding here I am gonna her soon” Veer said, using his sunshade then he left.
Vito threw his pistol and turned to Rubella angrily.
“Why are you so foolish, do you think you can kill him easily…you ruined my plan right now, I didn’t ask him to see me because I want us to settle everything in the best, I wanted to see him to avenge my father’s death, he killed our father” Vito said with anger lamed in his voice.
“Vito, I’m sorry” She apologised, trying to touch her but he pushed her away.

Veer was on his way home when his car suddenly hit a guy, they stopped the car and got down, as soon as he got down some guys showed up pointing their gunshot at him then Oso showed up.
“Who are you?” Veer questioned, walking towards him.
“I’m Oso, you are Veer right” Oso asked, gazing at him.
“Yes…Why are you threatening me with your guns? Do you guys think you can threaten that” He said with a frown.
Roxy and Livia pointed their pistols at Oso.
“You are the boss, If I kill you your guards will surrender” Veer said and grabbed his shirt collar.
Immediately he pointed his pistol at him, the guards exchanged glances, they dropped their gunshots then Veer smiled.
“Didn’t I tell you?” Veer muttered.
“I know you are very dangerous than before, without thinking twice, you can kill me but Veer I am not here to kill you, I only came to see you” Oso said and he left his neck.
“Why do you want to see me?” Veer asked.
“Veer, I know you hate Vito. Can we work together to take him down, I want to kill him” Oso said.
“If you want to take him down, do it alone cause I am not ready to make a deal with, I only make a deal with those people that have skills and connections” Veer said, walking away.
Oso rushed towards him.
“Please Veer you are the only person that can help me, I want to kill Vito because of what he did to me” Oso said and he turned back.
“You are not man enough to take him down before you join my gang, I want you to go on a mission so that I can know how skilled you are” Veer said, gazing at him.
“Tell me, I will do it” Oso said and he glanced at Livia then chuckled.
“Can you kill your family?” He asked.
Oso stared at him shocked and couldn’t say anything.
“He is more dangerous than his brother,” Oso thought.
“You have weakness and you want to take Vito down, I don't think it will be easy for you, even though Vito doesn't use weakness, when he had no choice he might use your family to threaten you… Do you think I will allow you to kill your family when I said you should kill them, I’m not that wicked. I said that to know your weakness and now I found out” Veer said, gazing at him.
“Okay, so can I be one of your guys?” Oso asked.
“The answer is still no” Veer said and hopped in his car.
Oso was furiously, he left angrily.
Hours later, Veer got back to his Mansion and sat down on the sofa, Roxy went to the kitchen to get him a drink.
“Roxy, I want you to find every detail of that guy called Oso” He spoke and gulped the drink.
“Okay, Boss” Roxy nodded.
Livia and Roxy both took Spyder to the guest room which they had cleaned, they called the doctor to treat him. Not long after, Dr. Neo showed up then went to the room to treat Spyder.
“Can you see? If you had killed the doctor that day will he treat your brother now, if the doctor had die your brother will also die in pain” Veer said, gazing at them.
“Sorry, boss” Roxy mutterd
Livia sat down beside Veer.
“Brother, do you think Spyder will be fine? I’m scared” Livia said, worriedly.
“He will be fine… why do you love him so much? He already has someone he loves” He said and her face widened.
“Yes, if you remember clearly there was a lady named Swifty standing next to Vito, Spyder and her were both staring at themselves when I said we should leave” He said.
“No…no” Livia shook her head.
“If you don’t believe me, go and ask him. Livia, why don’t you get rid of the feelings you have for him and focus on work” He said then went upstairs.
As soon as Veer left Livia went to Spyder to confirm if it is true but when she got she met him asleep, she sat down next to him and held his hand.
“Spyder, is it true you already have someone you love?” She asked, staring at him.
Tears rolled down her cheek and she immediately wiped it away, Roxy showed up.
“Livia, I know how you feel about my brother but you need to understand and moreover you can win my brother’s heart back since he has left Vito’s place” Roxy assured and she raised up her head.
“Really?” She muttered.
“Yes of course”’ Roxy said as he walked out of the room.
“Oh shit, he has a temperature..I need to soak towel In the water” Livia said when she touched Spyder’s forehead.
She stood up then left the room.
