Chapter one (1)
Mary, Bella and their friends were catching fun at De gold hotel, Mary and Bella are the bride and not just bride they are virgin, the bridal shower took place there.
The two are best friends and because they so much love each other, they decided to gets wed the same day.
They were all smiling and chatting when Mary received a call from an unknown caller.
"Hello miss Mary, happy married life in advance, i have a special gift for you" the voice said
"But i don't know you" she answered
"Common it's someone you know and it's a surprise gift, why not come down stair alone to see me and the surprise gift" the voice said
"Oh so you are here with me, then you must be someone i know. Just give me ten minutes i will be there" she said before hanging the call.
She wasn't scared because it was a feminine voice and thought someone close was playing the pranks.
She left her friends without telling them about the call she received, she walk out of the room and headed for downstairs.
She was about to go down through the stairs when a guy whose face was covered with cap, only his eyes, nose and mouth could be seen stopped her.
"You better be coperate else you loose your life" he said showing her gun.
Out of fear she shook her head "now follow me" he said to her.
She followed him to room 08 where two other guys dressed like him were sitting on the bed smoking.
The guy who brought Marely in shot the door "do whatever we ask you and you will be free in no time" the feminine voice among them said, her voice sounds like that of the lady that called Mary.
"Okay ma" Mary answered amidst fear.
"He wont rape you, you guys will do it willingly and that's all" the feminine voice said
"What are you talking about?" Mary asked
"Yeah, i mean one of my boys will have s*x with you, no shout else we fire you" she said
"I rather die than loose my v@ginity with another guy the day before my wedding, my husband to be knows i'm a v@gin already" she said
"Wow it seems you are stubborn and you prefer to die. Say your last prayer before i send you to hell" she said pointing the gun at Mary's head
Seeing the seriousness in the lady her little voice trailed off "please don't kill me, i will do as you say" says Mary
"I wanted taking things easy with you but it seems you are stubborn so i will make it hard for you. Now undress yourself" the lady shouted
"Don't forget you are a lady like me" Mary reminded the lady, she warmed Mary's face with a slap.
"I'm not a lady and i can never be a lady, remove your clothes" she said to Mary
Mary removed he clothes out of fear, she was stacked n*ked in front of the guys and the shameless lady.
The lady signal one of the guy who did same but his face was still covered. He made advance towards Mary but the lady stopped him.
She pushed Mary to the bed and made her to sprayed her leg. She used her finger to tickle Mary's clit. Mary lay quiet, she gently plunge in her two finger into Mary who let out a loud wail but one of the guys covered her mouth.
After fngering her she brought out her hands from her and sucked it "she taste nice so go ahead" says the lady, she is a lsbian.
The guy plunged in his own hard cck into her until he cm inside of her, that was their aim, to get her pregnant and use it against her after her wedding.
After they were through, they dressed her and sent her away warning her not to disclose the unpleasant experience to anyone else they would come back for her.
Mary went back to the room where her friends were still catching fun "Mary were have you been and why are you looking dull?" Bella asked
(Mary's POV)
"Don't worry about me, i am kind of thinking how will i leave my parents forever" i lied to avoid further questions from Bella.
"Common, it our day and stop thinking such" she said
I was scared of saying what happened to me cause i was warned but how would i explain things to Kelvin who had patiently waited and believed i was a v@gin.
He so much trust and believe in me but telling him all that happened will make him think i cooked up a story and i wonder who i had ever offended that chooses to punish me this way.
My mum told me to bring my friends home for the bridal shower but i refused saying hotel is better, now i don't know who to tell.
Quitting the wedding might make Kelvin to commit suicide cause he has gone through many difficulties and heart breaks, i never want to be the worst part of his life.
(Kelvin's POV)
"Haha haha haha Kelvin you are funny, i never knew you will also fall in the hands of fraudsters. Let me tell you there is no v@gin in this present generation" Jude said to me.
"You better mind yourself o, i trust Mary and she trust me also. You don't trust yourself that is why you don't believe there are still v@gin. As a matter of fact, her friend Bella is also a v@gin so go and rest" i said to Jude.
Jude is my elder brother, he is also like a friend to me, Jude doesn't believe in true love so he cared less about ladies.
I was also like him but when i found Mary, i found true love and i have sworn never to make her feel bad, i will love her to the end.
My friends would be coming over to spend the night with us including David who is getting married to Bella, we will dress in my house.
I just hope everything goes well and i see the love of my life.

THE BRIDE'S MISTAKEChapter two (2)(Mary's POV)
"You've been acting cold and I don't like it, what is the problem? " Bella asked me
"Bella can you give me breathing space? What is your problem " I questioned rudely.
"of cause I won't give you breathing space when you have been acting like a weirdo, you even broke one of the plates" she said
"I can see that you have problems, everyone is celebrating us but you want a quarrel right? " I asked her
She sat beside me and placed her hand on my neck, "we've been friends for long now and you have never acted this way apart from when you are in big trouble. Please talk to me I promise to help if I can" she said
"Bella should I still confide in you? " I asked while crying
"of cause you should trust me" she said
"I'm not a v@gin........" I was about to narrate all that happened before she interrupt.
"there is no big deal in it cause I'm not a v@gin also but I lied to David so he will not change me to s*x machine, I intend to explain everything on our first night " she said, I couldn't believe my ears cause Bella also made me to believe she is a v@gin
"no Bella don't tell me you've been lying, don't you know he might divorce you or even loose trust for you? " I asked

Now I believed what my mum was saying when she said I should be careful with Bella.
"Bella I'm absolutely disappointed of you, I can't imagine David's reactions when he gets to know all this. " I said
"you are here talking about David's reaction, what about Kelvin's reaction? Is it not the same problem we are facing or is it because I told you my mind? " she asked
"sorry dear, we are not facing the same problems, my own is totally different. I've always been a v@gin until today " I answered, she busted into an uncontrollable laughter.
"so you have cooked up a story right? Don't forget we are together throughout today, whatever you say is just a story or will you say you mistakenly itch your down with something hard when you were bathing? " she asked
I regretted telling her cause she happened to be something different, I narrated everything that happened to her but she laughed.
"something like that happened and you didn't alert the security agent when you came out of the room so that they will get them? " she asked
"Bella I was scared" I answered
"story, stop pretending. I know it's just a cooked up story, forget about it" she finalized
Now I regretted making her my best friend, her ways are not genuine as I've thought. I just pray things move fine.
(Kelvin's POV)
"how will you do with your wife after the wedding? " David asked me.
"well for me, I will just be warming my wife with romance for three months before going into her. I just want her to know that I love her not her body" I answered
"the lord is your muscle, as for me I've waited for long so I can't wait to plunge into the tight hole" he said, David is a very crazy guy.
"she is yours so you don't need to be in a haste" I said
"I'm in a haste cause I've went through a lot all in the name of my wife to be is clean " he said
"why do you value the v@gin stuff? " I asked
"cause it shows how strong a lady is" he answered
"I don't see value in it cause I've seen several cases where the lady would turn something else after her first night but it's still cool if she is a v@gin" I answered
"no no no, if she is not a v@gin then my trust for her will reduce, I won't be able to travel for long without her cause of fear of someone snatching her away from me" he said
"David you're crazy, what about you, are you a v@gin?" I asked him
"who cares or who will know if I am? " he asked back

"deceive yourself as for Bella her pregnancy start immediately after our wedding tomorrow " he said
"common that's a crazy thing to say, how will that be possible? Won't you have fun with her for some days? " I asked
"fun? No no no the pride prize will not be valued" he said, I laughed out loud. David is a funny guy but very honest and he loves honest people. He doesn't trust twice.
"what is your wish? " I asked
"my wish is that tomorrow should come as soon as possible so that I can take that vow before taking Bella to my house" he said
I smiled at him, I was also happy and eager like him but not with the same reason with him.
I just can't wait to live with Mary forever, my greatest wish and biggest prayer.
"what are you thinking about? " David asked tapping me, his tap made me to fear cause I was already deep in thought.
"I'm just thinking about the small world, I'm a bachelor today, tomorrow by this same time I will be a family man " I said causing David to laugh.
He pet me on my back, "things gonna be fine brother " he said
Chapter three(3)

I was with my friends when Donald called, I excused myself to pick his call wandering what he wanted from me.
"Donald I warned you never to call me again cause I'm getting married and why are you calling me? aven't I paid you? " I asked angrily
"common Bella you know that's not possible, the idiot my have a side chick which you don't know about so don't feel guilty " he answered
"Donald I don't care about that, I'm his woman and you have to know about this that everything between the both of us has ended" I said
"haha haha haha you lie, we just started and you must finish what you started. As a matter of fact I'm at the hotel and I need you to come and warm my bed" he said
"what? You're here?" I asked in fear, I know what Donald can do and I must not joke with him.
"Donald please my first night with David must be a memorial one, I want him to feel how tight I am please don't ruin this day for me, I promise you that the next day after my wedding I will specially come to see you" I pleaded
"will you shot up, I'm not a fool so kid me no more, either you come or I expose you on your wedding day " he said
"another alternative " I requested
"you think I'm joking right? We shall see tomorrow " he said and hung the call. Exposing me will not only bring shame to my family it will also break my marriage.
I quickly dialed his number and called, he refused to pick, I called again the same thing.
"I'm ready, which of the rooms are you? " I typed
"room 03" he sent back, we were actually at room 02 which means he is at the next door.
"babe I want to stroll with someone " I said
"what? I'm going with you then" Lina said
I looked at her "can you give me reasons? " I asked
"of Cause, as your friend and base on you're bride to be we have to take good care of you " she said
"don't worry much I'm around, just want to see how the place looks like" I said
"Bella if you received a call for gift don't go cause it seems someone wants to set us up " Mary said
"I don't think anybody can set me up, you guys should just chill, I'll be right back " I said and walked out, I slammed the door and stood for a while before opening Donald's door.
I know the door was only bang cause I told him I'd be coming, I looked the door and sat on his bed.
"Donald why can't you just give me freedom on earth? " I questioned
"common I don't want anyone to mess with my woman, you know how much I love and care about you if not for that rich spoilt kid that wants to snatch you away from me" he said while k*ssing my neck, his mouth smells alcoholic and he acts like a weirdo under congeal control.
"oh wait first let's discuss before you finish me" I said
"discuss what? " he asked
"go brush and take your bathe I'll be waiting for you " I said, he dashed me a slap on my face.
"you're now a rich girl right? Have you forgotten when we drink and k*ss at the same time? " he asked
I held my face were I was slapped "Donald I've not come for you to beat or insult me, I've been taking care of my skin for the past two months because if tomorrow so don't disfigure the face " I warned.
He angrily removed his trouser belt and pushed me to the bed "I'll deal with you today" he said
(Mary's POV)
It's getting late, Bella hasn't showed up yet.
I picked my phone to call her, the phone rang but no reply.
I began to sweat profusely, " where the hell is she? " I shouted
"forget about her, she always keeps late night " Anita her younger sister said
"she can do that but not on the night before her wedding, I'm upset" I said
"don't get upset, she said nobody should go with her " Lina said
I knew it was the same thing that happened to me but I prayed it should not be it.
"please I need to alert the security agent in this dangerous hotel" I said standing up but Lina drew me back to sit down.
"you're going no where, the first bride left and now you want to go right? I will not allow you " says Lina
I sat down quietly, praying within me cause I don't want the same unpleasant experience to happen to her.
(Bella's POV)
He quickly pulled out and ran to the bathroom, I was weak but I ran after him.
He c*m there, I felt peace if mind for his smartness cause I won't be able to stand it if he pored it in me.
He lay on the floor and opened his arms wide that I should come and hug him.
"haven't I satisfied you? " I asked angrily
"common babe finish what you started else I will still carry out my plans" he said
"Please it's late already and my friends will be worried about me " I pleaded
"fΔck your friends, you're going no where until 4am tomorrow " he said
Tears drop down my eyes "I beg you by the mercies of God " I please but he laughed.
"so you know God? " he asked
"please even the devil knows God " I answered
"those who knows God have heart but you are heartless and as a matter of fact you'll do what I say. Period" he said
I walked to where he lay and fall on him "you're too sweet babe" his annoying voice whispered.
(Mary's POV)
" Lina just look at the clock for Christ sake it's 24:00 and Bella is not back" I said
"yeah you're right and I'm scared" Lucy said
"I'm scared too" Lina and Anita said in unison
"what do now? " I asked
"let's alert the security agent " Lina said
"Lina if anything happens to my sister I'll hold you responsible cause you were the one who stopped Mary from going " Anita said
"excuse me what do you mean by that? " Lina shouted at her
"you heard me so watch and see" Anita answered
"don't involve me in any of this else I'll squeeze you alive, what kind of a girl is your sister that can't even control her legs" Lina fired
"my sister is better than some thirty-two years old unmarried people " Anita said referring to Lina as the thirty-two years unmarried people.
Well Lina is far older than us, she hates guys and speaks rude about them so she doesn't care of getting married but she is the an hard working lady, she own a famous boutique in town and was also responsible for Bella's education.
She is more than a friend to us but Anita never knew about that, Lina slapped Anita, Anita was about to slap her back when I hold her hand "are you stupid or what, is she your mate? " I questioned Anita angrily
"instead of thinking in how to get Bella you guys are here quarreling " Lucy said
"you guy should warn this girl o" Lina said referring to Anita. We all pleaded with Lina but she later sat down crying.
She was crying because of what Anita said, she always cry whenever she's being insulted about her marital status.
We all began afresh by pleading with Lina, Anita was forced to apologize to Lina.
We settled everything at 2:00 then decided to talk about Bella.
We finalized that first thing in the morning we will alert the security about her.
We retired to bed in fears, I couldn't tell how the peaceful sleep took me until the hard knock woke me up.
I opened the door when realized it was Bella's voice. "oh my God where are you just coming from? You kept us all worried " I said
" I slept off downstairs " she said
"what? Who do you know there? " I asked
"please stop the jamb question " she said
"Bella this is strange I must say" Lina's voice interrupt, I never knew she was awake.
"I don't care, it's my life and I live the way I want it so don't be upset" Bella said
"hmm, it's making no sense at all, what if David gets to know about this? " Lina asked
"do we have basket mouth here? It's just mistake and you guys should believe me and stop arguing " she said and fell on the bed like someone that came back from night duty.
"You should smile now that Bella is back and today is your day " Lina said to me.
I faked a smile but I know I was in a big mess, the long awaiting day happened to be terrible for me.
"common guys be happy " Lucy said
I don't know about Bella's sad expression but I hope she is not in a mess like me.
Lucy is a makeup artist so she is the one to dress up but she finds it hard cause of our sad look.
Chapter Four (4)

I took second look at my good self, my white suit reflect to my black skin which made me too look very good.
I just want Mary to be happy, David was also dressed in white suit.
I ordered him to allow my dad in, when my dad came in they all excused themselves.
We both sat on the long couch, "sun I'm proud of you and I'm pleased that you finally wants to settle with a lady" he said
I shook my head "yes dad"
"well, it's not about wedding, it's all about marriage. Marriage is not just for pleasure times, there are times of struggles and hardship. You might think I'm talking about financial aspect but not at all. To live with a lady not just for a year but life aspect till death part you ain't easy" he said
I cleared my throat "dad you know I love Mary so much, I can spend eternity with her" I said
"I said that more than you, I listened less which almost caused divorce between your mum and I that's why I want to talk to you about it " he said, I was surprised to here that my parents once had misunderstanding that almost caused their separation.
"most couples usually changes when they start the jour, only few makes it to the end and I want you to fall in the categories of the few, I don't want you to get tired of Mary. Whenever things seems to be turning the other way try your best to make peace don't forget you're the head. Try to abstain from what she hates and always say sorry even when you think you committed no offense. " he said
"really dad? " I asked
"yeah, your mum and I are the best couples until she was conceived of you, she cry at any little thing, she'd send me to go and cook, when I'm dine cooking she'd start crying that I delayed the food. Initially I'll just ignore her and the food of which she would start crying unending cry, I'd feel like spanking her like a baby not until I got to style, then I changed, whenever she brings up quarrel I'd beg and beg until she calms down. " he said
I heaved a sigh "that's quite terrible " I said
"you see, that's why I'm here. Try your best to be a good and forgiving father, you paid her bride price so you're the one known by God and man as his wife cause you did every rightful thing. " he said
"nobody can take her away from me" I said
"can you listen to me and talk less? " dad scolded
"I'm very sorry sir" I said
"I don't pray for that but never think of divorce, the only reason for divorce permitted by bible is infidelity and if you divorce her because of that then know that you must not marry another person so you see why forgiveness is better? If you forgive just the way Christ forgive you then life goes on" he said
"thank you dad" he said
"you're welcome, if you keep to this then I pored my blessings on you. Life will be simple for the both of you by God's grace, your children shall be round your table and you will tell them tales while they laugh " he said
"amen dad, you're the best" I said, he smiled and hugged me.
(Mary's POV)
"call your mum and tell her about it " I thought within me, but would she believe me.
I know she would never believe me, I don't know why my joy changed to sorrow.
"Mary I know all is not well but would you like to talk about it" Lina asked
"I'm fine, don't mind the way I look" I said
"are you sure? " she asked
"Yeah" I said faking a smile
"yours beautiful both inner and outer so be cool okay" she cheered
"yeah, thank you " I answered
She sat down with a sad look "Lina what's wrong with you? " I asked
"I always like to be called somebody's wife but my heart can't forgive how my fiancé broke my heart" she said, I was surprised cause Lina had never been emotional towards anyone I know.
"really? You once had a fiancé? " I asked
"yeah I have, I'm more than romantic and I'm more than naughty. I have this footballer fiance who proposed to me before he traveled to play for Turkey, we kept in touch until after two months, I couldn't reach him again maybe he lost his contact but I always go to see his parents who called me wiffy as of that time.
Six month later he came with a white pregnant lady, he said they got married at Turkey, his parents were mad at him but when he started reckless spending they all subjected to him.
Presently he is divorced with two children but the lady took one of the children, they shared everything that belongs to him equally probably because it was a court wedding.
The child she left with him is a girl and presently a she plays basket ball. " she said
"I'm so sorry you fell in the categories of that kind but you'd have give someone a trial cause not all men are the same " I said
"love is like war says a quote, it's easy to start but difficult to end. My heart still beats for him, my thoughts is full of him which makes me to hate guys at times" she said
"what about Timothy? " I asked
"what?? I hate him and I don't want to talk about him" she said
"it sounds romantic to me" I said teasingly
Timothy is her working partner before she got a boutique, they always quarrel and acts like cat&rat.
"Mary don't joke with me, my God I hate him" she said
"guess what? " I said
"I'm not good at it" she answered
"he is among David's friends " I said
"I know but hope he is not coming for the wedding " she asked
"of cause he is coming to propose to his miss charming " I tease again and she began to laugh.
"what are you two discussing, be fast cause we are late for church already" Lucy's voice interrupt.
(Bella's POV)
We all dressed, when we were coming out of the hotel everyone was busy taking photo with miss Kelvin to be.
Nobody cares about me aside Lucy and Anita, her gown looks perfect like that of model cause her rich parents bought it for her.
Her skin was glowing and the worst of it all she was foolishly smiling which shows the dimples on her face.
My eyes turned red immediately but I don't have anything to do, the journalist were all around her because Kelvin is a celebrity, though David is rich but not as Kelvin and I'm just average.
"we are late for church, I think this should take place during refreshments " I said trying to stop them.
"the girl over there is my best friend, I love her dearly " I heard Mary said referring to me, two journalist ran to me, that was when I began to blush but I'm not happy at all.
"let's go" Lina said, I fired her with a bad look, she was busy smiling when they were interviewing Mary but she wants us to go during my turn.
A car that was covered was uncovered with the surprise, on the body was painted with a large photo photo of Mary and Kelvin k*ssing each other.
People ran to take photo of the car, my car was different with just a sticker that reads "about to be wed" I angrily entered the car.
We arrived late and walk straight to the church auditorium were the pulpit was.
My heart skipped when I saw Donald, he pressed an eye.
Lucy was my chief bride maid, I tapped her, "please get me my phone " I said to her
She was with my phone so she gave it to me "what do you want and why are you here? " I typed to Donald
"of cause I came to take what is mine away " he typed back
My heart jump "Donald please don't ruin my day, you've had enough last night " I typed back
"you are mine forever " he typed back
"so what are you up to? " I typed back
"to be publicly announced about us" he typed back
"don't be stupid, how would you do that? " I typed
"just listen to the bed pastor, he will ask if there is anything that we stand against the uniting of you both and I'll stand up to tell everyone the story" he typed back.
(David's POV)
"babe you look perfect on your dress" I said to Bella but she ignored me and focus on her phone.
The pastor was talking cause he started with us but she was busy with her phone, I wonder when she eventually became a phone addict.
She was typing while her hands was shaking, my mind was on the phone, I lost concentration cause that's the first time I've seen her that way.
(Donald's POV)
I flipped through the handbook that was given to me about the wedding, I smiled when I saw my damsel.
I only felt pathetic for the so called David cause I'm going away with her.
She thinks she is smart but not as smart as she supposed to be.
By the time I'm done with her, she'd give me a kudos.
(Bella's POV)
I was busy typing and receiving message when David moved to me "can you keep your phone and listen to the man of God? " he whispered
I have Lucy my phone still scared as I listener to the marriage rite which took place after the second reading.
"my dear friend, you have come together in this church so that the lord may seal and strengthen your love in the presence of the church's ministers and this community. Christ abundantly blesses this love. He has already consecrated you in baptism and now enriches and strengthen you by a special sacrament so that you may assume the duties of marriage in mutual lasting fidelity. And so in the presence of the church, I ask you to state your intention" says the priest.
He was quiet for a while before he spoke further "Anabella and David, have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage? "
"yes I have" David said and I said the same
"will you love and honor each other as husband and wife? "
"yes I will" David said and I said same.
"will you accept children lovingly from God and bring them up according to the law of Christ and his church? "
"yes I will" David said and I said same.
The pastor faced the congregations "of anyone has strong reason why this couple should not be joined together in holy matrimonial, let them speak now or forever hold their peace " he said, everywhere was silent as we all wait to see.
My heart pound faster, Donald stood up, my spirit almost left my body waiting to see what he want to say.

Chapter five(5)By Joy (Donald's POV)
I wanted to speak cause all eyes was on me but I was caught by a beautiful lady who was among the bride's maid.
I pretended and walked out in order to avoid further gesture.
(Bella's POV)
I felt the relieve of that of someone who was released from carrying heavy log.
"since it's your intention to enter into marriage, join your right hands and declare your consent before God and his church " says the priest.
He gave David the book for declaration of consent "I David take you Annabella to be my lawful wedded wife, I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad times, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better for worse, for poorer for richer, in sickness in health, to love and to cherish, until death do us part. " David declared

"you have declared your consent before the church, may the lord in his goodness strengthen your consent and fill you both with blessings. I now join you both in the name of the father, of the son and of the holy spirit. What God has joined together, let no man put asunder " the priest declared as the church answered amen.
David pulled me for a k*ss, it was like an unending k*ss as people began to clap for us.
(Mary's POV)
I was so happy as the priest joined us together, I hold the ring and made my declaration. "I Mary take this ring as sign if my love and fidelity in the name of the father, of the son and of the holy spirit " then I placed it on Kelvin's finger amidst tears, I don't know what await me after the party. Kelvin hugged me.
Despite what happened to me, I still felt special and happy but fears grew when I realized I'll have to go home with him.
"you made me proud " I had my mum saying to me, it made me to cry more.
I don't know who to confide and narrate everything that happened. My phone rang unknown caller again, I was scared to pick but I finally picked the call.
"it's me your friend and the father of your unborn child, I'm here with you and I hope you haven't disclosed our secret to anyone cause I can shoot you now " he said
I didn't say a word, the phone was on my ear until he hung up.
I'm sure it's truth cause I might be pregnant, an idea stroke me.
"common love you ain't dancing this is our best day" Kelvin said while pulling me to dance.
I smiled and tried to be nice.
Two days after our wedding things changes as I tried my best for Kelvin to make love to me but he'd insisted saying he just wants us to have three months fun.

I'm never against Mary cause she was treated bas but for her to keep the secret is absolutely wrong, it means she has plans.
The dat before their wedding when I said planned to go and see Bella I was climbing the stairs when I saw someone closing her mouth and pulling her to one room.
I quickly ran towards the room and placed my ears close to the door to listen to everything, I felt like alerting the security agency but an idea stroke me to trace the people.
After they were done with her, when they sent her away I hide around the hotel.
I was able to follow the guys but I couldn't figure out who they were and who sent them cause they still remain on mask.
I traced them to their house, I've been checking on the house and I get to know they are bad guys.
Of recent I made friend with one of them who told me they want to travel, I planned to travel with them and get to know who sent them to Mary.
One of the guys told me David is their boss so I suspected David cause he somehow looks like one of the guys on mask but I'm not sure of it.
I glanced through my wrist watch, it was getting late and Anita must be worried.
(Anita's POV)
I couldn't help but cry, my phone was switched off so I couldn't call my sister, I saw when Donald was going out with his car through the window, he lied to me and locked me inside alone.

I was shy at first for seeing Mary and Lina. Alicia brought me to the restaurant where she works and luckily for me I was given a job there.
I was washing the plate when Alicia came to me that someone wants to see me.

"I'm not always at home so it's better I get you a maid, she'll do the house chores and keep you company " she said

The house was damn lively even though I was the only one at home, I played game and watch movie, Lina has all what one could need in the house.
I went to the swimming pool, the thought of Donald came into my mind.
I cried and ran to my room to pick my diary "Donald I know you'll be somewhere merrying with your new catch, I just hope you get to know you left me with something and the worst of it all is that you sold your house to someone just to avoid me.
I hate you " I wrote down on my diary, shouting i hate you and punching the diary with my pen.
I fixed my gaze at the ceiling as I allowed the tears to flow freely on my face, if only life could be previewed, I'd have slapped Donald the first day I met him.
I brought my head down and watch my stomach "so in five months time you'll be as big as calabash right" I asked the quiet stomach.
I wonder what my pastor and friends will say if they get to know from my parents. I slapped my head several times "Anita what is wrong with you? The deed has been done already " I thought
Soon I heard the door bell, I quickly wiped my tears. I went to the bathroom and washed my face, I used a soft towel to clean it and creamed my face immediately.

I told her many things I know about the house and showed her round, while we were at the living room I heard Lina lying to someone on call that she was ill.

Debbie left for the kitchen while I stood waiting for Lina to end the call "miss Lina you just lied to someone " I said

"now that you've lied to him, when you get well from the fake sickness what excuse will you give him or will the fake sickness continue forever? " I asked back

Lina is a good make up artist with the best boutique but she hardly apply makeup on her face and dresses like old woman just that she's changed of recent and I wonder how comes the changes.

"after all the sleeping? " she questioned, I haven't sleep but I couldn't tell her.
(Mary's POV)

(Debbie's POV)
Anita's loud voice woke me up, she was shouting my name and hitting me on the bed.
"I'm sorry dear" I said yawning and rubbing my eyes, I was actually dreaming of an handsome guys when she woke me up, I just prayed she doesn't quarrel or cry as she use to do, I wonder if she is the first person to be pregnant on earth, she cry and quarrel alot, even Lina has been avoiding coming home early because of her.
I turned on the bed room light to know why she woke me up "what's the problem? " I asked.
"I want to eat cassava flakes" she said
I wonder what is cassava flakes "what do you mean? " I asked.
"I want sour cassava flakes " she said
"okay I'm coming " I said
I took my phone to the kitchen and called a friend of mine, after so much complaints that I called her late she finally told me cassava flakes is garri.
I was shocked, I've never thought of garri having another special name other than garri.
Back to Anita "haaa miss Anita" I said cause she has warned me to stop calling her and Lina madam, she said I should call them by their name simply by adding miss and Lina agreed to it.
"why are you shouting haaa? Give me cassava flakes before I die" she said in a shaky voice, if I don't take a step she'll begin to cry and cause night vigil for me.
"you know our kind of store in this house that there's no garri, please be patient with me, first thing tomorrow morning, I promise to buy it for you " I pleaded cause it was already 23:00.
"no I want it now" she cried.
I ran to Lina's room to inform her about it "tell her tomorrow I'll buy it for her " she said
"she insisted that I give her this night" I said
"hmmm, do you know where we can get it this night? " she asked
"no I don't have idea" I answered
She followed me to our room and pleaded with Anita to wait till morning but her plead was futile effort, Anita cried the more as if her life depends on it.
(Lina's POV)
I have many unfinished works that I've promised to fulfill tomorrow and with the way things are going with Anita I don't think I'll be able to make it.
An idea stroke me, I remembered Mary use to have local store where she keeps local food stuff so I picked my phone to call her not minding how dangerous it was to go out.
"hello Mary are you there? " I requested after she had made so much noise.
"Lina what's the matter? " she asked
"please do you have cassava flakes in your store? " I asked
"yeah. Should I bring some for you tomorrow? " she asked back
"not really I'm coming to your house right now, I need it" I said.
She laughed "I no know say you don join witch last last, you wan come my house this night because of garri. I go spray anointing round before you reach" she teased
"please Mary I'm serious " I pleaded.
"okay, when you get to my gate just give me a call my husband will take it to you " she said, I thanked her before hanging the call.
"Anita I'm coming let me go and get it for you " I said, she agreed to wait for me.
I took my car and drove roughly to Mary's house, just as she said I called and her husband brought it to me.
I drive back home, Anita was still crying. I quickly mixed the cassava flakes for her, she tested it and cried that there was no sugar in it.
I brought sugar, she measured the quantity she wanted while Debbie and I was watching her.
She took a spoon full twice then drop the remaining that she was okay, I was mad at her but Debbie calmed me down.
"why will she have to stress me if she is not really hungry for it" I quaried
While I was busy quarrelling I heard her snoring "now she is sleeping while my sleep has been distracted, I need to see that elephant in your tummy" I said before going out.
(Debbie's POV)
Early the next morning I was preparing to go to the market when Anita woke up. I slapped myself for not doing things fast enough before she wakes, I know she'll give me another problem.
"where are you dressing to go to? " she asked
"I want to go to the market" I said
"then you'll have to wait for me to take my bathe, it has been long I did exercise" she said
Walking with her is another problem, she'll complain I'm walking to fast or too slow.
"okay just be fast" I said, I was dressing when she entered the bathroom.
She gave me some clothes when I came newly, that's when she was on her normal self, I took a beautiful gown out of it.
After putting on the gown I applied make up, I sat beside the full mirror admiring myself not knowing she has already taken her bathe and have put on her dress.
"what are you doing?" she asked tapping me.
I looked her surprised "you're through? " I asked.
Immediately she saw me she began to cry, I inquire to know why she was crying "you look more beautiful than I " she said
"no no no, God forbid. You that looks like pure gold, you deserve to be called ruby. Do you know that latest song titled brown skin girl by Wizkid and Bounce? " I asked trying to pet her and save time, she nodded her head.
"they're actually referring to you as the brown skin girl, especially when Beyonce said your skin is not only dark, it shines and tells your story and the sweetest of it all is that she wants to trade eyes with you cause yours is sexy but for me, I'm fair and ugly like ugly duckling" I said
"are you sure I look more beautiful than you? " she asked
I shook my head "yeah you look more beautiful and you're the most beautiful " I said before she wiped her tears and went to the market with me.
When we got to the market she was busy touching and pricing what she'll not buy, the thought of resigning was on my mind but I know my mum will not agree. She told me to endure since Anita's attitude was not only towards me but to everyone.
I was buying vegetable when Anita said she wants pineapple, thank God we were at the market so I took her to where they sell pineapple.
Despite all the plead Anita insisted that the only pineapple that looks attractive to her was the one an old woman has chosen for herself already.
I pleaded with the way to give us the pineapple and promised to buy two bigger once for her, as if she understood everything, she accepted to it.
Anita insisted that I peel the pineapple and give her at the market, I refused but the market women pleaded with me saying she might lost her appetite when she gets home and refuse to eat it.
I had to obey just to please Anita, I was fed up, I don't even have time for myself.
We got home, I packaged everything ready to cook when she said she'll be the one to cook, without arguments I accept.
She took chair and sat beside the pot, she was busy ordering me about to do everything.
She sent me to go and bring onion, later she sent me for knife, I wonder why she didn't asked for the two.
She kept sending me untill I got tired, finally she slept off at the kitchen while I completed the cooking.
Time for dinner, Lina refused to eat saying she was okay. Anita began to cry saying she used her time to cook the food.
Lina had to eat by force then I planned on how to deal with her so that she'll cry and finish the tears.

"take me to Donald " Anita said to me.
"who is Donald and why can't you go yourself? " I asked, petting her will not help matters so I have to deal with the spirit in her.
She began to cry "my dear cry as you can and make sure you finish your tears and that of the baby so that you'll never cry and your baby will never cry also" I said and walked away.
I strolled out, I've been crushing on a guy in our street but it seems he doesn't notice me. I wore a yellow skirt and a white top which looks perfect on me.
When I saw the guy I changed my walking step, another guy whom I so much hate approached me in the presence of my Prince charming.
"hello please I want to talk to you " he said, I ignored him but he kept on following me and went ahead to stop me from walking.
hat do you want from me? " I shouted to attract my crush's attention.
"I need just one thing from you and please don't say no" he pleaded.
"what is that? " I asked angrily.
"your phone number " he said, I gave him to free myself.
Few step away I received a call from unknown source which I knew was the guy but I refused to pick, he kept on calling I got tired and picked.
"what is your problem? " I asked angrily
"actually is not what you were thinking, I don't want to tell you in the presence of those guys " he said
"tell me what? " I asked
"you're stained, I guess it's your period " he said
I was surprised, I turned to check it was true. I couldn't hold the shame as ran home. I was prayed never to see the guy again.
When I got home Anita was fast asleep, I watch her angrily cause it's her fault, I was running away from her not knowing I'm in for embarrassment.

I sat at the living room watching movie, troublesome Anita was sleeping so I felt relaxed.

"Bella has been suffering from pregnancy problem but you never knew about it, she always come to the hospital " the doctor said, that's our family doctor, we pay him monthly and have accounts with the hospital.
I couldn't stop coursing myself for leaving someone I've loved, I was at her ward with Kelvin waiting for her to wake but it seems she wouldn't wake up.
"man be strong, I'll be on my way. I and my wife will be here tomorrow " Kelvin said before leaving, I don't want to call her parents so I sat beside her.
I held her hands "baby I'm sorry, for leaving you and caring less about you. Please wake up and I promise to be a caring husband to you. " I said watching her but she didn't make a move.

I opened my eyes to see David sitting beside me, he looked tired. I wondered why he was sitting beside me then it occurred to me what happened the previous day.

I tried to stand up but I discovered I was on drip "what!!! So I'm in hospital? " I shouted at him.

"David you ought to be ashamed of yourself, how can a real man lay hands on a woman talk more of his wife? " I asked amidst tears.
Before my tears would drop his tears were flowing freely already "I'm sorry love, I've never done that before and I don't know what came over me " he said
"what did the doctor say about me? " I asked in an annoying tone
"he said you are okay but we lost the baby, I never knew you were pregnant "
At the mention of lost I felt a sharp pain on my head, I love babies and ever since I took in, I didn't bothered him cause I know my baby will keep me company.
I held the collar of his shirt with one of my hand "David just kill me since you've killed my child " I cried

I walk out of them to my room where I cried freely, I don't want to cry in their presence lest they think I'm weak.
